The Cinema Studies Institute and Media Commons Archives present Pop Up Cinematheque, a new 16mm screening series highlighting rare gems from the collections. Each screening features an introductory talk discussing the unique aspects of the film and its archival status.

The Tell-Tale Heart is a 1971 short film adaptation of the Edgar Allan Poe story.

Magical Death is a 1973 documentary short by anthropologist Napoleon Chagnon, that explores the role of the shaman within the Yanomamo culture, as well as the close relationship shamanism shares with politics within their society.

Film producer and programmer, Colin Geddes will give the introductory talk.

Admission is free but registration is required because Robarts Library is not open to the general public. Reserve your spot online.
