Description
On behalf of the Southeast Asia Seminar Series at the Asian Institute, you are invited to a special a North American Simulcast screening of Breaking the Cycle. Screenings of the film will be held simultaneously at numerous university campuses across North America. Following the screenings, each campus will come together via Zoom for a discussion with the filmmakers, Aekaphong Saransate and Thanakrit Duangmaneeporn.
This film captures the political awakening among Thais after the rise and fall of Thanathorn, a young politician, and explores the 2019 election in Thailand.
This talk will take place in the Innis Deluxe Screening Room (IN222E), 2 Sussex Avenue, Innis College, on October 1st from 6PM to 9PM.
