Biography

Stephen Schwartz is a PhD student at the Cinema Studies Institute, University of Toronto. His research interests include film historiography, early and silent cinema, film pedagogy, magic(k) and religion, histories of Cinephilia, and Yeşilçam cinema of the 1950s and 1960s. He is also a musician and a sporadic creator of short video art.
