MA Student
Biography
Laura Kim is an MA student at the Cinema Studies Institute at the University of Toronto. She obtained her BA at the University of Toronto with a double major in Cinema Studies and English and a minor in Creative Expression and Society. Her sensory-based research focuses on cinematic girlhood and engages with film philosophy, psychoanalysis, and animation theory. Beyond scholarly work, Laura's world is filled with art: through poetry, photography, and (screen/non-fiction) writing.
