Free Friday Films are a tradition here at the University of Toronto. Our Cinema Studies Student Union has been putting together awesome bills for over two decades!
Spirited Away (2001) is about 10-year-old Chihiro who moves away with her parents to a new neighbourhood. When they stumble into an abandoned amusement park, they accidentally step into the world of the supernatural, and her parents are turned into pigs by the witch, Yubaba. The park is a resort for spirits, and she must work there to free herself and her family.
