Description
Treasures from the Mastrangelo Collection: Non-Fiction FIlms is a screening of three 35mm prints from the Mastrangelo Collection, the largest Italian-language of collection of 35 and 16mm films in North America housed at UofT's Media Commons Archives since 2016.
This event is free and open to all. Reserve free tickets here.
A commercial, a short documentary, and a feature documentary will be screened:
- Confetto Falqui (A short commercial for a laxative from the 1960s. Director and year unknown.) B/W
- Donne del sud oggi (Dir. Francamaria Trapani, 1968) Colour
- Mondo cane (Dir. Paolo Cavara, Gualtiero Iacopetti, and Franco Prosperi, 1962) Colour
All films are in Italian with English subtitles.
