On Friday, June 14, 18:00-23:00, PhD candidate, Ganga Rudraiah will VJ in David Pecaut Square. The video visuals, Sighting Labour are part of Char Bagh, an outdoor celebration of South Asian music, visual arts, dance, architecture, and artisans. The event is part of Luminato, the Toronto Festival of Arts, Culture and Creativity.
Ganga's video art practice employs extreme editing as a subversive technique to resurrect and reimage visual histories of the Global South.
