Biography
Miriam Siegel is a PhD candidate in Cinema Studies at the University of Toronto where she also completed her master's and bachelor's degrees. Her dissertation focuses on the ways in which the storytelling strategies of American popular cinema interact with the storytelling strategies of particular genres. Her research interests centre on narration in film and television and the relationship between storytelling and style. She teaches a course on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
